Frequently asked questions

Are yak chews safe for dogs?

Yes — yak chews are a hard, long-lasting, highly digestible chew made from milk. As with any chew, supervise your dog and take the last small piece away (or puff it in the microwave) so it can't be swallowed whole.

How long do chews last?

It depends on your dog and the size, but most dogs take from a few days to a couple of weeks per chew. Heavy chewers finish faster — size up if yours does.

Which size should I choose?

Match the chew to your dog's weight: Small for dogs under 10kg, Medium for 10–25kg, and XL for 25kg and over. When in doubt, size up.

What's the microwave trick?

When a chew is down to its last nub, microwave it for 45–60 seconds until it puffs up like popcorn. Let it cool completely, then serve it as a light, crunchy treat — no waste.

What are your treats made of?

One named protein per recipe — no fillers, no meat derivatives, grain and gluten free. The full ingredient list is printed on every pack.

Are your treats suitable for sensitive tummies?

Our recipes are single-protein and grain & gluten free, which many sensitive dogs do well on. If your dog has a diagnosed allergy, always check the ingredient list on the pack first.
